We'll have our very own DJ Mark Johnson on the decks pumping out hot tunes, everything from Latin RnB to Bachata to Salsa Dura and Cubana! And the Salsa Rocks teaching team will be running classes and demos throughout the day for the general public.
If you've never danced salsa before, this is a perfect opportunity to get a taste of what salsa dancing, music and the social salsa scene is all about. Modern Salsa dance as we dance it today has its origins in New York, and we at Salsa Rocks take pride in bringing the same flavours of music and teaching the same style of dancing to you here in Leeds. Salsa is fun, its addictive, we absolutely love it, and hope to make you fall in love with it too. There will be plenty of variety of music for everyone to dance to - Latin RnB, Merengue, Bachata, Salsa, Mambo, Salsa-Cubana, Timba and more to keep the party rocking!!
